Happy Spring
I can't wait to put a pretty wreath on my door! This one found here. (btw- a great online store that I just found via this blog)

Good tile goes to heaven
A couple of weekends ago we went to Georgetown- one of our favorite shopping districts- to walk around and to go here and here. We decided to walk into Ann Saks and Waterworks (which are right next door to each other) and I was in tile (and fixture) heaven! I think Eddie had to pick my jaw up on the floor- oh and mop up the drool. Our "reality" trip to Lowes the next day just wasn't as exciting :)

Client Project
What to do with a gigantic, long, blank wall? My client had this problem in her bedroom and this is what we came up with. I LOVE how it turned out. It's such an amazing statement and is the perfect greeting to her fun bedroom. I can't wait to do this in a different pattern and color in my home- either in the hallway or small powder bath.

Loving
We are thinking about doing some built-ins in our future office/guest room and when I saw this photo on Coco and Kelley I gasped. You know I love the layered blues and greys and would love that daybed spot to hang out and read magazines and surf the web. Switch it out with a mattress and it's perfect for your guests! Oh- and what about that amazing swing arm lamp!

Park City
On our trip out west a couple of weeks ago we drove up to Park City for the afternoon. No skiing for us (we wore ourselves out in Steamboat Springs)- just a little window browsing. This town is rustic and modern all at once with one of a kind stores and some yummy places to eat. It is definitely up next on our list of places to stay and ski.
Check out this original art I found at one of their local boutiques. I almost got the lemons, thyme and basil but decided against it because I still need to work up a design scheme for our new house.
Can't wait to go back there and spend some more time!

This picture makes Park City look like a deserted ghost town but it's actually quite charming. I was loving all the different colors of the buildings and of the homes on the mountain. Usually I only see that in coastal towns.
Can't wait to go back there and spend some more time!

Living Room Design
The second we bought a condo, I've been designing every inch of the space in my head. Tonight I got a little antsy and had to get a rough idea down visually (i.e. screen shots of my desktop). Some of these pieces we already have, like the ticking stripe sofa, pillows, and green laquered chest and the others I have been eyeing for quite some time.
I'm sure I will be a little heartbroken though once we move in and realize that this living/dining/kitchen space is much smaller than I envision in my head :) Hopefully I will be a better blogger and be able to document the whole process!

I like both of these options with the different prints.

What I love right now
Loving this sofa shown on the Alice Lane blog. Pillows included. Maybe I'll add this to my Christmas wish list-though I have a feeling the shoes may be a bit more realistic :)
